Meet Our Team

Jackie Scott

Jackie studied communication at UC Santa Barbara and has worked in the non-profit sector over the last 9 years, both nationally and internationally. She met her husband, Michael, while working in humanitarian aid overseas. She joined him in his home state of Texas when they returned from abroad. She has focused on serving vulnerable populations through connecting clients with resources to accomplish their goals and achieve self-sufficiency. While working with underserved populations in DFW, she saw the enormous road-block that transportation can become to maintaining a stable job, attending school, and having time with family. She is excited to work with OnRamp DFW to remove this road-block for many.

Kathy Kelley

Kathy brings a degree and over two decades of social work and educational service to OnRamp DFW. Specifically, she has over 10 years with non-profits and has worked with all ages, ranging from newborns to adults. Kathy serves as an educator with Richardson ISD, where she’s able to teach and be a voice for elementary students. Her other current volunteer positions include an organization which provides online mentorship and counseling to young girls, and with her church, Full Table Fellowship Church on the Outreach Committee. Kathy has a passion to see families become self-sufficient and productive citizens. She is a wife of 17 tears, a mother of a 20-year old son and 17-year old daughter, and an extended mom to many other kids.

Tim Bernett

Tim enjoys serving as OnRamp DFW’s vehicle fleet manager. He purchases vehicles, works with vehicle donors and ensures the vehicles are mechanically sound and cleaned before they are given to clients.

Hannah Bernett

Hannah is a seventh grade history teacher in the Dallas area and enjoys teaching students from diverse backgrounds and experiences. She is a proud Texas A&M graduate and Richardson native. Hannah started coordinating the social media streams for OnRamp DFW after hearing of the need through her dad, Tim Bernett. She has enjoyed seeing how the gift of a car to deserving and hard-working clients impacts not just them, but also their surrounding community!

David Russell

David spent his childhood and early adult life in North Dallas, and became a follower of Jesus through the influence of his family and youth leaders. He and his wife, Kristina were missionary teachers in Nicaragua for a season, where they experienced God’s provision through the generosity of others. Back in DFW, David was inspired by the meaningful impact and intentional business model of OnRamp TX, and saw a way to share the love of Jesus while meeting a tangible and often overlooked need in his local community. David and Kristina are parents of four children and David has been blessed to participate in both full-time ministry and full-time business ventures, where he relishes strategy and equipping people for lives of purpose.
