Taylor joined our staff in August 2025 as our very first Executive Director. As a faithful volunteer on our Client Care team prior to that, he has been passionate about the ministry of OnRamp DFW since he started.

Taylor Russell is the Executive Director of OnRampDFW, a non-profit that gives cars to people in need.

Taylor Russell - Executive Director

  • After attending his first vehicle giveaway as a volunteer he realized “This is what I want to do with my life." The dedicated way he has given of his time and talent since then proved it wasn’t just a fleeting feeling.

    Taylor’s character and leadership have been evident for the past few years as he’s pastored and taught at Woodcreek Church in Richardson, TX. He holds a Masters of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and has served a stint overseas with Cru. He and his wife Emily are parents to two young boys.

Tara joined the OnRamp DFW team in May of 2024 as our part-time administrator. She had previously worked as the area administrator for Young Life in Plano.

Tara Jones - Administrator

  • Tara began her relationship with Jesus through the ministry of Young Life while she was in high school and had been involved with Young Life since then, from a volunteer to full-time staff. As a member of our team, she is eager to serve a new community of people, listen to their stories, and help communicate the mission of OnRamp DFW to anyone and everyone! Tara met her husband, Chase, at Texas A&M (whoop!) and they are parents to boy/girl twins and a daughter in Plano, TX.

David Russell

David spent his childhood and early adult life in North Dallas, and became a follower of Jesus through the influence of his family and youth leaders.

 
  • He and his wife, Kristina were missionary teachers in Nicaragua for a season, where they experienced God’s provision through the generosity of others. Back in DFW, David was inspired by the meaningful impact and intentional business model of OnRamp TX, and saw a way to share the love of Jesus while meeting a tangible and often overlooked need in his local community. David and Kristina are parents of four children and David has been blessed to participate in both full-time ministry and full-time business ventures, where he relishes strategy and equipping people for lives of purpo

Jackie Scott

Jackie studied communication at UC Santa Barbara and has worked in the non-profit sector over the last 9 years, both nationally and internationally.

  • She met her husband, Michael, while working in humanitarian aid overseas. She joined him in his home state of Texas when they returned from abroad. She has focused on serving vulnerable populations through connecting clients with resources to accomplish their goals and achieve self-sufficiency. While working with underserved populations in DFW, she saw the enormous road-block that transportation can become to maintaining a stable job, attending school, and having time with family. She is excited to work with OnRamp DFW to remove this road-block for many.

 

Tim Hancock is a CPA for a local accounting firm and has 9 years of experience with accounting and financial reporting for both for profit and nonprofit organizations.

Tim Hancock

 
  • He felt called to use this knowledge to support organizations doing great things for the Kingdom. Tim serves as the Treasurer and uses his accounting background to oversee the accounting and financial records of Onramp DFW. Tim and his wife Melanie serve leading high school students through Watermark Community Church.

Hannah is a sixth grade teacher in the Dallas area and enjoys teaching students from diverse backgrounds and experiences. She is a proud Texas A&M graduate and Richardson native.

Hannah Bernett

  • Hannah started coordinating the social media streams for OnRamp DFW after hearing of the need through her dad, Tim Bernett. She has enjoyed seeing how the gift of a car to deserving and hard-working clients impacts not just them, but also their surrounding community!

Margaret McGuffey

Margaret is proud to serve on the board of OnRamp DFW, where she volunteers her time supporting client care and leading grant writing efforts. .

Tim enjoys serving as OnRamp DFW’s vehicle fleet manager. He purchases vehicles, works with vehicle donors and ensures the vehicles are mechanically sound and cleaned before they are given to clients.

  • She’s passionate about making meaningful connections and helping people take steps toward stability and self-sufficiency in the name of Jesus. Margaret earned her degree from Texas A&M University and now lives in Dallas with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, playing pickleball, and sharing meals with friends

Chris is an entrepreneur, technology leader, and auto repair industry advocate with a passion for service and community impact. In 2011, he and his brother Patrick transformed a struggling auto repair shop into Golden Rule Auto Care, a business built on integrity, transparency, and treating people with dignity.

Chris Cloutier

 
  • Their commitment to these values led to the company’s growth and national industry recognition. With more than 25 years of experience in software development, Chris created Autoflow, a technology platform that improves communication and trust between auto repair shops and their customers. His work has been featured in leading industry publications, and he remains active in leadership and mentoring organizations.

    Guided by his faith and the biblical principle found in Matthew 7:12—“In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you”—Chris is especially passionate about supporting organizations that restore dignity, opportunity, and independence by providing reliable transportation to individuals and families in need.

Julie is a social worker at Thrive Women’s Clinic, where her conviction that all people are created in the image of God shapes her compassionate care for single mothers and their children, both born and unborn. She is deeply committed to listening to families’ needs, developing supportive programs, and connecting them with resources that promote long-term health and stability.

  • After witnessing firsthand the transformative impact of OnRamp DFW on a family she served, Julie became a passionate advocate for its mission and is honored to support its work at the board level.

    Julie treasures time with her husband, four daughters, and her grandson, and she enjoys connecting with friends over a good cup of coffee.

Drew Wight serves as Vice President of CentraMark Technical Sales in Richardson, Texas, where he leads a team providing high-reliability hardware solutions for customers in mission-critical applications. He manages the Raytheon/RTX account and supports the North Texas team across a multi-state region including West Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and North Louisiana.

Drew Wight

  • Drew holds a Bachelor's degree in Science Education from the University of Oklahoma and has earned his Certified Professional Manufacturer's Representative (CPMR) certification.

    Drew's commitment to community service is demonstrated through extensive board and volunteer leadership. He currently serves as an Elder at Woodcreek Church in Richardson and on the board of Hope for Latin Children. His civic engagement includes two years on the City of Plano's Family Self-Sufficiency Program, which helps families achieve financial independence, followed by two years on Plano's Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. After relocating to Wylie in 2019, he served two years on the city's Zoning Board of Adjustments.

    A North Texas resident since 1988, Drew has witnessed the region's transformation firsthand. He and his wife, of 21 years, Christy have called East Plano and Wylie home since 2005, where they are raising their three children: Velvet (17), Boaz (15), and Elijah (13).Drew enjoys camping, hiking, and water sports
