A Letter from the Executive Director

Dear OnRamp DFW Supporters,

I’m incredibly honored and excited to step into the role of Executive Director at OnRamp DFW.

In just a few years, we have grown from a small group praying for what could be into an organization that has served over 45 families in our community, all by the grace of God. Since launching in 2021, we’ve helped individuals and families gain access to something many of us take for granted: reliable transportation to get us to work, school, the grocery store, and the doctor’s office. But more than that, we’ve seen people gain access to opportunity, freedom, safety, stability, and dignity.

None of this work is possible without a committed community of donors, volunteers, advocates, churches, and other nonprofits. It is people like you who care deeply and give generously that makes OnRampDFW run. You’ve helped us not only meet urgent needs, but do so with compassion and integrity. Every time we hand over a set of keys, it’s a reminder of what can happen when people come together to love their neighbors in practical, meaningful ways.

As I take on this role, I’m stepping into something way bigger than myself. This organization was launched out of OnRamp Brazos, who laid the road for OnRampDFW to drive upon and has assisted at every turn. Not only that, but the founding board and volunteers of OnRampDFW labored tirelessly in order to make this model work. They have continued to believe that God cares deeply about those in need in our city while also understanding that transportation is a major barrier in self-sufficiency.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to build upon the foundation that has already been laid. I want to see us deepen relationships with our community partners, strengthen the systems that support our clients, and grow our capacity to serve even more families across DFW. Not only that, I want people to know why we do what we do! That as Jesus gave Himself for us, we want to give ourselves to others, both in word and deed. I’m committed to keeping our mission front and center: To share God’s grace by gifting reliable vehicles to hard-working people in need to partner with them on the road to self-sufficiency.

As we look to the back half of 2025, I invite you to pray with us for a few specifics:

  1. That we would have 6 more reliable vehicles donated to us by the end of the year.

  2. That we would find 1 new male & 1 new female Client Care Team volunteers.

  3. That monthly giving would increase by $1,050 by the end of August.
